The demand for presentation skills training has increased following the pandemic because hybrid working has brought a whole new set of challenges for people, from learning how to speak on video calls to feeling very nervous about returning to the office for face-to-face presentations.  In response, we are looking for Love Public Speaking Partners (franchisees) to help us meet the growing demand for training.

Becoming a Love Public Speaking Partner provides you with a unique opportunity to have your own business working under our brand as a trainer with the potential to generate unlimited income.  Once you become a Partner, you’ll be able to pick and choose jobs from our Training Jobs Board as well as generate your own training sales using a website and marketing materials that we provide you with.

This “business in a box” opportunity allows you to get up and running straight away with your own Love Public Speaking franchise business without having to learn entrepreneurial skills before generating regular income.

How does it work?

You’ll need to attend the foundation training first in order to learn the basic of how to teach presentation skills: Become a Presentation Skills Coach.

If having taking the foundation course, you decide you would like to become a Love Public Speaking Partner, we’ll ask you to take part in a short application process where you will:

1. Submit a 300-word personal statement
2. Be observed delivering a 2-hour presentation skills workshop
3. Be observed delivering a 1-hour private coaching session

What can you earn as a LPS Partner?

As a Love Public Speaker Partner your earning potential is unlimited.  You will typically earn between £100-£200 per hour of training or £1500 – £2000+ per full day of training.

Are there limited spaces?

Yes, we take on a limited number of LPS Partners each year to ensure we can work closely with that cohort to help them makes sales.  In order to become a LPS Partner, you first need to attend the course Become a Presentation Skills Coach in September 2021.   The next time we run this course will be September 2022.

What does it cost to become a Partner?

The foundation training is £790 + VAT (£950 VAT inclusive) for the 2-day training course Become a Presentation Skills Coach.

Once you qualify as a Love Public Speaking Partner, you will pay a monthly fee to use our brand and training materials, and receive ongoing training support.  You can choose from 2 partnership options:

Option A – £300 + VAT (£360 VAT inclusive) per month with a 15% commission to Love Public Speaking on training sales you make

Option B – £100 + VAT (£120 VAT inclusive) per month with a 25% commission to Love Public Speaking on training sales you make

Included in this fee:

• A license to work under the Love Public Speaking brand and use our training materials
• Access to the Training Jobs Board to pick up work
• A Partner website and marketing materials so you can also win your own work (or you can opt to keep your own website)
• Ongoing training and support to develop your training skills and help you win training work
• Access to our close-knit community of LPS Partners where you will receive peer support, attend events, share ideas and grow your skills
• Admin systems for managing clients (e.g. booking forms, course feedback surveys etc)
• The opportunity to train deliver a wide range of Love Public Speaking courses (e.g. How to win client pitches, Women’s leadership training etc.)

What kind of person usually becomes a LPS Partner?

We are looking for people who have strong communication skills and enjoy working flexibly.  You don’t have to have a particular background, but some of the careers our Partners have come from include working in the corporate world, working as a consultant, coach, a teacher or an actor.  Some of our Partners do this work alongside generating other streams of income as part of a portfolio career and some do it as a full time job.

What if don’t have any experience of training or presenting?

You do not need to have any experience of working as a trainer or be a public speaking expert as we will train you in these skills in the foundation training.

I don’t have any experience of selling and am worried about making sales.  Will I receive help?

As a Partner, you will have access to free fortnightly virtual Q&A sessions where we mentor you in how to sell to clients.  Our business only works if you are selling well and earning enough money to remain a Love Public Speaking Partner, so we will be mentoring you closely to ensure you are successful in making sales.  This can be anything from £1K – £12k per month depending on how hard you want to work!
