Love Public Speaking was founded by Carrie Swift, international public speaker and advocate of speaking up to be heard. However, that wasn’t always the case. Once upon a time, Carrie suffered with a fear of public speaking whilst working in her job as a Director in the corporate world. She attended many courses and public speaking groups, but found most of the training didn’t work because it failed to address the real problems – anxiety and self-confidence.
So in 2016, Carrie founded Love Public Speaking to create presentation skills training that worked at a deeper level. Incorporating CBT, emotional intelligence strategies and a few other secret ingredients, Love Public Speaking’s training programmes start with building personal confidence, and take people through to being able to deliver high-impact presentations with real executive presence.
Our training programmes are bespoke, so we take a detailed brief from our clients to incorporate speaking exercises based on real-life scenarios that occur in that specific sector or industry. Our core focus is on practical speaking exercises, so those who take part in our training programmes will be presenting for most of the day, not listening – because our training is not about a transfer of knowledge, but a shift in skill set.
The results of our approach speak for themselves; 98% of our clients have rated our training 5 out of 5 or ‘excellent’ in feedback surveys – read our client testimonials here.
