Carrie Swift
Founder and Managing Director
Carrie is the Founder of Love Public Speaking. She launched the company after spending several years tackling her own fear of public speaking as a former Director in the corporate world. She is now a qualified trainer, coach and international conference speaker.
In 2021, she was recognised at Management Today’s Women in Business Awards as one of this year’s “35 Women Under 35” which recognises Britain’s brightest young business leaders.
Trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, coaching skills and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Carrie has designed over 40 training programmes for Love Public Speaking. She delivers training programmes for individuals, schools and businesses of all sizes, from blue chip companies to start-ups pitching on the TV series "Dragon’s Den". Carrie is passionate about helping people find their voice in order to advance their careers.
Jackie Beere OBE
Trainer, Award-Winning Author and International Speaker
Jackie began her career as a journalist before moving into teaching. Despite having a phobia of public speaking, she eventually became Headteacher of a large, successful secondary school where she built her confidence as a leader and presenter. She was awarded an OBE in 2002 for developing innovative learning programmes for students and teachers.
As the author of several best-selling books on learning, coaching and personal development, Jackie now speaks all over the world to business leaders and school leaders on the latest strategies for developing emotionally intelligent leadership and a growth mindset culture.
Jackie is a certified coach who provides confidence coaching to many of our clients which is delivered alongside private coaching for presentation skills.
Andrew Weale
Trainer and Award-Winning Author
After studying at Trinity College, Oxford University, Andrew became an actor and had his own theatre company before becoming a presentation skills trainer to help others benefit from the many techniques he learned to overcome nerves and build personal presence. He now works internationally as a multilingual trainer in Presentation, Media and Storytelling Skills, running hundreds of workshops over the last ten years in the UK, the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
Having worked with clients from a broad range of sectors from tech start-ups to FTSE 100 companies, pharmaceutical and Ministries to media companies, Andrew train teams as well as one-to-one coaching up to CEO level.
Alongside his training work, he is also a multi-award winning fiction author, owing to his passion for storytelling.
Jenny Brown
Trainer and Coach
Jenny works as an executive coach for Love Public Speaking and a trainer on our Women In Business programme. She was formerly Diversity and Inclusion leader as part of a panel taking responsibility for D&I in a firm of 4,000 people. She is a qualified EMCC Coach Practitioner and has supported many people with their career development, addressing challenges such as personal presence and confidence.
Jenny has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, a BA (Hons) in Economics is currently completing a Masters degree in Psychology. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Jenny had a career as an auditor for 20 years working with many different types of organisation including AIM listed and SMEs. She also specialised in working with not for profit organisations and with boards. As a Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Not for Profit group at Grant Thornton, Jenny led teams of differing sizes and was responsible for strategy and team development.
Rachel Puttick
Trainer and L&D Expert
Having been in training and management for 21 years, Rachel is an expert in business communication skills, L&D, and is a qualified ILM facilitator. Bringing a wealth of experience to her training, Rachel’s training style is lively, creative and impactful with plenty of practical exercises. Some of her recent clients include Airbus, NATO, the NHS, VAI and the Refugee Council.
Rachel has a BA in English Studies, a M.Sc. in Race and Ethnic Relations, a masters level CIPD in people management and development and a PGCE in adult learning. She has also achieved instructional designer status with Reed Learning. Her passion is designing and delivering high impact training programmes for businesses and charities.
Anthony Shuster
Voice Coach, Elocution and Accent Reduction Specialist
Anthony read English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford, where he specialised in Linguistics, before training in voice, diction and accents at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Alongside voice coaching, he is an award-winning actor who has worked extensively in theatre, TV and radio, with companies including the National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the BBC and Channel 4.
As a voice and communication skills coach, Anthony specialises in how to use voice when presenting to communicate with confidence, clarity and flair. He has worked for a wide range of corporate clients, including including Google, Adidas, BNY Mellon and PwC, on presentation skills, business communication and influencing. He is also an accent reduction specialist who helps non-native English speakers develop better clarity and accuracy in their spoken English.
Alex Lyons
Trainer and Facilitator
Alex has spent over a decade helping people communicate differently - from police officers and care workers to bankers and tech entrepreneurs. Starting his career in public relations for ethical tourism, Alex left the BBC radio and newspaper interviews behind to live the agency life supporting organisations including O2 and The Joseph Rowntree Foundation to uncover and articulate their purpose and values.
Along the way, he joined the heady world of TED talks, working as a speaker coach supporting everyone from gender statisticians and activists to poets and radio DJs to uncover their idea worth sharing. In recent years Alex has designed and delivered training in empathetic communications to young police officers, and regularly facilitates workshops on designing inclusion into the way we work with private, public and third sector organisations.
Ishreen Bradley
Diversity Trainer and Coach
Ishreen Bradley is a diversity trainer and coach who inspires professional leaders to navigate complex situations with clarity and confidence. Her focus is to cultivate mindsets and cultures that nurture a sense of belonging through authentic leadership.
Ishreen delivers training to global C-Suite and Senior Leaders to develop environments that embrace diverse talent by encouraging inclusion and belonging. Some organisations she has worked with include Aon, Lloyds of London, Barclays, Standard Chartered Bank, Fidelity, BP and Pfizer.
Drawing on her 30+ years of leading transformational projects around the world, Ishreen impacts Leaders so they can create and implement inspirational transformational strategies, that engage their teams – resulting in increased psychological safety, connection and value.
